Scheduled scans

Run scans automatically so new cookies and trackers don't slip in unnoticed.

Why schedule scans

Most websites change all the time: a new marketing tag, a new vendor, a new feature. Scheduled scans keep your cookie list current without anyone having to remember to do it.

A weekly or monthly scan is enough for most teams.

Set up a schedule

Open your project and go to Cookies β†’ Scanner.

In the top right, click Schedule Scan.

Schedule Scan dialogThe Schedule Scan dialog with frequency, day, time, and timezone options.scanner-schedule-dialog.png

Pick the options that suit you:

Frequency. Choose Weekly or Monthly.

Day. For weekly scans, pick a day of the week. For monthly scans, pick a day between 1 and 28.

Time. Pick the hour and minute the scan should start.

Timezone. Choose the timezone the time is in.

Click Save. The schedule is now active.

Update or pause a schedule

Click Schedule Scan again. The dialog opens with your current settings.

To change the schedule, edit the fields and click Save.

To pause it without deleting it, use the on/off toggle in the dialog. You can turn it back on any time.

To remove it, click Delete schedule.

Where the results show up

Scheduled scans appear in the same Scanner list as manual ones. The Created By column shows the system did it instead of a teammate.

Open any scan to see what changed since the last one.

Permissions

Owners and Admins can create, change, pause, or delete a schedule. Users can see whether a schedule is set, but can't modify it.
